【短文】七班墙上的惊喜
It is Monday morning. Miss Li walks into Class Seven with a big box.
星期一早上。李老师抱着一个大箱子走进七班。
"Good news!" she says. "Our class will have an international food sale on National Day."
"好消息！"她说，"我们班国庆节要办一个国际美食义卖。"
Everyone is excited. "We can celebrate and learn about other countries!" says Wang Lin.
大家都很兴奋。"我们可以庆祝节日，还能了解其他国家！"王林说。
Miss Li puts a list on the blackboard. It shows food, price and country. "Each group picks one country," she says. "For example, Group One can sell pizza from Italy."
李老师在黑板上贴了一张清单，上面写着食物、价格和国家。"每组选一个国家，"她说，"比如，一组可以卖意大利的披萨。"
Our group meets after school. "Let's sell yogurt and chocolate from France," says Zhang Wei.
我们组放学后开会。"我们卖法国的酸奶和巧克力吧，"张伟说。
"Good idea," I say. "We can make balloons in the colours of France. They are a symbol of celebration."
"好主意，"我说，"我们可以做法国颜色的气球，它们是庆祝的象征。"
"And we can make a wish card," says Liu Mei. "People write a wish and take a photo with it."
"还可以做许愿卡，"刘梅说，"人们写下愿望，再和卡片合影。"
"We must think about the total price," I say. "One kilo of chocolate is 40 yuan. One kilo of yogurt is 20 yuan."
"我们得算好总价，"我说，"一公斤巧克力40元，一公斤酸奶20元。"
"So the total is 60 yuan for food," says Zhang Wei. "We can sell each cup for 5 yuan."
"那食物总共60元，"张伟说，"每杯卖5元。"
Then we have a small problem. Zhang Wei wants to post a big sign on the wall. But the wall is for the National Day art show.
接着我们遇到一个小问题。张伟想在墙上贴一张大牌子，但那面墙是给国庆美术展用的。
"We can't put our sign there," says Liu Mei. "The art teacher will be angry."
"不能把牌子贴那儿，"刘梅说，"美术老师会生气的。"
Zhang Wei is not happy. "But how can people find us?" he asks.
张伟不太高兴。"那别人怎么找到我们？"他问。
I think for a minute. "We can make small balloons and put them on our table," I say. "The art wall stays clean. And our balloons are like a small flag."
我想了一会儿。"我们可以做小气球，放在我们的桌子上，"我说，"美术墙保持干净，我们的气球就像一面小旗。"
Zhang Wei smiles. "That works!" he says.
张伟笑了。"这行得通！"他说。
On National Day, many students come to our table. They enjoy the yogurt and chocolate. They blow up balloons and make a wish.
国庆节那天，很多同学来到我们的桌子前。他们很喜欢酸奶和巧克力。他们吹起气球，许下愿望。
A girl from Class Two writes on her wish card: "I want to visit Paris next time."
二班的一个女孩在许愿卡上写道："下次我想去巴黎。"
Later, Miss Li takes a photo of our group. Zhang Wei holds a blue balloon. Liu Mei holds a white one. I hold a red one. The three balloons are side by side, like a small flag on our table.
后来，李老师给我们组拍了一张照片。张伟拿着一个蓝气球，刘梅拿着一个白气球，我拿着一个红气球。三个气球并排在一起，就像我们桌上的一面小旗。
